On Friday we popped back to The Old Post Office, deep in the heart of Shrewsbury. We’ve played there a couple of times previously and have had a good response on each occasion, but this week was possibly the best so far. It seemed that every song we played was the perfect choice and it has been decided beyond any doubt, via audience votes over the last month, that WeeMann’s choice of Video Killed The Radio Star is a runaway success. Clatter, being about 20 years younger than the rest of the band, was fairly unaware and unimpressed with the track when it was first put forward, but has been shown repeatedly by audience reaction that he should trust the tastes of his band mates when it comes to song choice.
Following an all too short Easter break, the band are back on it this coming Saturday at The Boars Head in Belle Vue Road, Shrewsbury with a trip to Bury, Lancashire the following week.
